  • Beware of fraudsters: Organisations in UAE doesn't require to disclose their financial information to any person

The Federal Tax Authority (FTA), has requested to all tax registered business for not to disclose their financial data or other information to any person or organisation that is not authorised to do so. Tax authority is emphasising to ignore any message, email or telephone call received by the tax person asking for their registration details.

It is important and requested to all the registered businesses to keep all the data confidential as federal tax authority has not authorised any organisation to collect this information on their behalf.

Tax registered businesses need to submit their tax returns within the specific time and can pay the tax amount before the last date. The last date for return filling is the same as the last date for the payment for any liability which need to be paid to tax authority.

This can easily be done by visiting the e-Services portal on the FTA website - eservices.tax.gov.ae - available 24/7, accessing the tax return form, entering the data, then pressing 'submit'. Users can then proceed to pay their due taxes by clicking on the 'My Payments' tab.

Recently, this has been seen that tax registered person got call stating that they are calling from Federal Tax Authority and was asking to this information and when we asked them to call back or email, they hang-up.
